My goal as a therapist is to provide a compassionate space that is not only a soft place to land, but also somewhere that allows you to slow down and breathe. Together we can build clarity and discover what it is that you want for yourself and the steps you can take to get there.

I have been a licensed therapist for nine years and worked in a variety of settings with several different populations. Over the time I’ve spent as a therapist, I’ve developed some core values that apply no matter where I work or who I’m working with. These include being trauma informed, understanding the lived context of each person, and taking a holistic approach to treatment.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy modalities and am flexible in what interventions I use based on a person’s needs. I gravitate towards Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) the most, and I will almost always integrate mindfulness into our work.

In my free time I enjoy reading, crocheting, and sitting out on my catio with my large, orange, fluffy cat named Clementine. My practice is informed by my own identities, which include being fat and disabled. I utilize humor and connection with clients in order to have a strong foundation as we delve into deeper work.
